I finally wrote something I can post without revealing too much my latest poem as of 2:30 Wednesday morning. Here's Alone, Together for your reading pleasure
Alone, Together
So your love has fled
The cycle won't go on forever
But while your heart is dead
Maybe we can be alone, together
I do love you
But you've said never
But while you're blue
Maybe we can be alone, together
Your eyes pour like rain
And though I can't stop your tears altogether
While your in pain
Maybe we can be alone, together

This one came to me while I was flipping through Pandora (for those of you that don't know, this isn't a remedial class) and saw a song titled Alone, Together and the first stanza just popped into my head I added to it from there.
